Tour: St. Benedictine monastery, Sitno & Svaty Anton tour

Visiting cloister of St. Benedict in Hronsky Benadik, established in 1075 by Hungarian King Gejza, later rebuilt in Gothic style. The Benedictine monastery is one of the oldest and most important architectural monuments of Slovakia. We will see the very old fresco painting of St. Juraj, altars from Tirol and many more valued things. Next is the walking on the Sitno peak. Finally visiting the baroque-and-classic style manor house with a large park, situated near the UNESCO town Banska Stiavnica. When it was built, they used symbolism of calendar: 4 gates = 4 seasons of the year, 12 chimneys = months, 52 rooms - weeks and 365 windows = days of the year! Inside is museum of forestry, wood and hunting.
